1. Contact Me:

We will set up an initial meeting (via phone or in person) to discuss your project.

2. Determine Approximate Montage Duration:
For every 50 photos, there will be at least 5 minutes worth of montage.
If you will be showing your montage to a large group and are concerned with the montage duration, plan for the
montage to be 15 minutes or less.  A 15 minute montage will display up to 150 photos.
If you are not concerned with the duration of the montage, you can choose as many photos and/or video clips as you
wish.

3. Select Photos and Video Clips:
Non-digital Photo (up to 8" x 10") - 35mm print, 35mm negatives, 35mm slides, instant photos
Digital Photo (at least 300 KB) - .jpg, .gif, .png, .tif, .bmp
Paper Media (up to 8" x 10") - certificates, announcements, invitations, diplomas, newspaper clippings, etc...
Analog Video - VHS, Video8, Hi8
Digital Video - Digital8, MiniDV, DVD, .avi, .mov, .mpg, .mpeg

4. Arrange Photos and Video Clips:
Sequence numbering is 001, 002, 003, etc....
For hard copy media, place a sticky Post-It Note with sequence number on back of the media.
For digital images, name the files with the sequence number.
For video clips, note the stop and start time of each video clip.  Also note the placement of the clip within the
montage.

5. Select Music:
Use the following guidelines to help you select music for your montage:                                                                      
1) for every 30 photos select one 3-4 minute song or 2) for every 50 photos select 5 minutes worth of music
Note that a song does not have to be played in its entirety.  I can easily piece partial songs together, creating a
smooth musical flow.
If you wish to provide me with the music, you must provide me with an original copy of the CD.
If you do not have an original copy of the CD, I will purchase the music. Please provide me with the song title and
artist.

6. Decide On Title Pages:
Choose text for the DVD cover.
Choose text for the intro slide.
Choose text for the outro slide.
Choose text for the title pages introducing each section of your montage.

7. Choose Cover Photos:
Select a photo for the DVD case.
Select a photo for the DVD menu.

8. Project Meeting:
We will discuss the details of your project and complete an order form which will document all of your project details.
I will show you all of the themes and backgrounds and special effects that can be used in your project, and you will
decide on these features at this meeting.
I will collect all of your photos and video and music.
A price quote will be determined and payment will be collected.
If you are not in the DFW area, you can mail me your materials and payment.  An address will be provided to you at
our project meeting.

9. Production Time:
Project can be completed 21 days after receipt of materials.
Memorial montages can be completed 48 hours after receipt of materials.
Rush orders are accepted.

10. Project Preview:
After completing your project, I will contact you via phone and/or email to notify you of a secure link where you can
preview your montage.
When you have previewed your montage, we will work together making any necessary changes to your project until
you are completely satisfied.

11. Project Completion:
I will contact you via phone and/or email to notify you of the project completion.  Your montage DVD, photo CD, and
all of your original materials (photos, video, music) will be shipped to you via US Postal Service Priority Mail.
If you live in the DFW area, I will personally meet with you to deliver your montage DVD, photo CD, and all of your
original materials (photos, video, music).
